Our 5 TopTips for Tamborine Moutain
There’s plenty to see and do during your stay on idyllic Tamborine Mountain. The plateau is crisscrossed with walking tracks through Tamborine National Park – the third oldest National Park in the world.
Curtis Falls is the best-known of these walks and is directly across from the motel. Other attractions include the wildly original Thunderbird Park, the magical Glow Worm Caves and the hugely popular Rainforest Skywalk . See our recommendations below..
1. Bushwalks & Waterfalls
Take a scenic escape into the Gold Coast Hinterland to experience the essence of the ‘Green behind the Gold’ by losing yourself in the shade of subtropical rainforest with lush palm groves, open eucalypt woodlands with grassy understories and deep weathered gorges with trickling mountain streams.
2.Food, Wineries, Distilleries & more
Tamborine Mountain boasts award-winning boutique wineries, breweries and an iconic distillery. And what better way to see the Mountain than taking a tasting tour around many of these cellar doors, where you can often meet the business owner as you sample their wares.
3. Mountain Events & Attractions
With four distinct seasons and an all-year calendar of events, Tamborine Mountain is a perfect year-round destination, no matter your age. There is always something exciting to do and see.
